Koç Academy of Interventional Medicine, Education, and Simulation (RMK AIMES). While low-fidelity simulations are used to teach basic skills, high-fidelity simulations (e.g., manikin-based simulation) standardized patients are used to teach advanced skills such as critical thinking, problemsolving, teamwork, decision-making, and communication skills. In the simulation center, environments and situations similar to real-life clinical challenges are created for students, allowing them to make mistakes and reflect on and learn from them.
